Membership

On behalf of the Board of Directors of ACAUS, it gives me pleasure to inform you that, all CAs in good standing with the Home Institutes of ACAUS and domiciled in the US are automatically members of ACAUS.

Since 1980, ACAUS has provided US based CAs with valuable services including:

  • Regular business and social networking functions with fellow CAs, Presidents and Chief Executives of the Home Institutes, as well as with leaders in U.S. business and U.S. accounting profession;

  • Career services through ACAUS’ Career Committee, responsible for investigating, soliciting and identifying career opportunities across the U.S. through a network of preferred executive recruitment firms;

  • Information on matters of reciprocity (i.e. helping CAs receive US CPA licensing and/or recognition of the CA qualifications), including State Boards’ contact information, educational institutions offering CPA exam preparatory programs, and CPA exam review course vendors;

  • Webcasts on relevant topics of interest, many of which carry CPE accreditation, through ACAUS' Education Committee;

  • Effective strategies to promote the CA designation as a global professional accounting qualification among large employers and recruiters in the U.S.;

  • Access to a current online membership directory for powerful business networking; and

  • An interactive website, with significant information on services and linkage to other key accounting and business bodies and professionals.

The Home Institutes of ACAUS have agreed to sponsor our activities on your behalf.  As such, ACAUS will continue to provide these services at no charge to you.  Accordingly, we encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits associated with your ACAUS membership and to learn more by exploring our website.

ACAUS is a volunteer run organization, relying not only on the support and commitment of the Home Institutes, but also on a dedicated board of directors.  If you have any interest in becoming actively involved in ACAUS or in serving on its board of directors, please email: president@acaus.org or call ACAUS offices directly at (941) 347-7643.

We sincerely hope that ACAUS as a resource is beneficial to you and to your professional experience and development here in the US.  We aim to be an extension of the services provided by your Home Institute back home.  Please feel free to contact us at admin@acaus.org with any additional questions or suggestions that you may have.
